I am influenced by antique architecture and memorabilia. I find beauty in the imperfections of old buildings and vintage postcards and aim to carry these handcrafted traditions through my work. I also find inspiration in the deep history of women’s craft, from embroidery to the art of domesticity. Through these influences I explore the concept of home, memory and sentiment.

Through printmaking, I reflect my interest in the handmade by combining the new with old, linoleum blocks with antique letterpress type, screen printed patterns with historical bookmaking techniques. I take interest in the quality that printmaking can provide, no two objects looking exactly the same.

I explore sentimentality and connectivity through stationery. I want my printed objects to be collected and displayed, while also fulfilling a deeper need for human relation. I hope my work can create a sense of home and comfort for the viewer. While also allowing for them to see the historical references that have led me to where I am today.
